Reverend Rose Hudson-Wilkin
Reverend Rose Hudson-Wilkin is a Church of England priest. Since November 2014, she has been Priest in Charge of St Mary-at-Hill, City of London. She additionally holds the roles of Chaplain to the Speaker of the House of Commons, priest vicar at Westminster Abbey and chaplain to the Queen. She was previously vicar of Holy Trinity Church, Dalston and All Saints Church, in Haggerston. She has been tipped as likely to be among the first cohort of women to become bishops in the Church of England.
It’s all a long way from the crystal waters and swaying palms of her birthplace, Montego Bay, where brought up by her Auntie Pet she coped with poverty and separation from her mother. She did however have a sense, from the age of just 14, that her future lay in faith.
A great stalwart and campaigner for young people and deprived communities, she makes a fitting member, supporter and patron of Inspired Futures.
